Craniofacial surgery

Craniofacial surgery is a surgical subspecialty applicable to treat the congenital and acquired defects of the head, skull, face, neck, jaws and associated structures. Cranial vault redesigning is the procedure used to treat the babies with premature skull development i.e. Craniosynostosis. Other craniofacial surgeries include zygoma reduction for reducing the size of the cheek bone.
